The Captain's Beard be a company of traveling troubadours from Brighton, on a quest to bring the finest sea shanties and drinking, dancing, folk music to all you buccaneers who loves the pirate's life! We play songs of the grog, grot and grime that comes from sailing the high seas - and we're a-plannin' to board The Frog and Frigate this May bank holiday weekend! Our shenanigans is followed by a night of singing, dancing n' carousing downstairs with the cap'n himself, the legendary Derek Gardener.
